Host Partner Program
GESVO Host Partner Terms
Clear, plain-language terms for the Host Partner Program.
Program
Approved GESVO Host Partners may earn commissions from qualifying purchases made through their assigned referral link or QR code.
Eligible bookings
Not every GESVO product, rental, service or third-party experience is necessarily commission eligible.
GESVO determines which offerings qualify for Host Partner commissions.
Partner services
Host commissions may be available on select third-party services and experiences. Commission amounts may vary by service and provider. When a commission applies, the Host Partner will be shown the commission amount earned for that booking.
Commission amounts
Commission amounts may be a percentage, a fixed dollar amount, different by product or service, or different for third-party partner experiences.
The applicable commission is determined by the commission rule assigned to that product or service by GESVO.
No commission on pass-through amounts
Unless GESVO specifically states otherwise, Host commission is not calculated on taxes, tips, refundable deposits, grocery purchases, refunds, chargebacks, pass-through vendor expenses or other excluded fees.
Refunds & cancellations
Fully refunded or cancelled bookings may not earn commission.
If a Host commission was already credited or paid on a transaction that later becomes refunded, cancelled, disputed or charged back, GESVO may reverse or adjust the related Host commission.
Payments
Commission payout timing is a GESVO program setting and is shown in the Host Partner dashboard once configured.
Referral attribution
Qualifying bookings must be attributed to the Host Partner through their assigned referral link, QR code, referral code, or another attribution method accepted by GESVO.
Attribution rules and the attribution window are set by GESVO and may be updated.
Program changes
GESVO may update commission amounts, eligible offerings or program terms prospectively.
How commissions may work
These examples explain different types of commission structures. Not every service uses the same commission.
Example 1 — Percentage commission
If an eligible GESVO rental has a $200 commissionable amount and the Host Partner commission assigned to that rental is 10%, the Host earns $20.
Example 2 — Percentage commission
If an eligible GESVO rental or package has a $329 commissionable amount and the assigned Host commission is 10%, the Host earns $32.90.
Example 3 — Flat commission
If a partner experience has a Host Partner commission set at $10 per completed booking, the Host earns $10 regardless of the total guest booking amount.
Example 4 — Photography / partner experience
A photography booking may have a specific Host Partner commission assigned to it. If that commission is $10, the Host earns $10 after the booking becomes eligible. It is not calculated from the photographer's total price or any GESVO provider agreement.
Example 5 — Fridge stocking
Grocery purchases themselves are not commissionable. If GESVO assigns a commission to the Fridge Stocking service, it is based only on the eligible GESVO service component defined by GESVO — not the cost of the customer's groceries.
Example 6 — Non-commissionable service
Some third-party services may not offer Host Partner commission. If the service is marked as not commission eligible, Host commission is $0.
Example 7 — Refund
If a qualifying booking is fully refunded before the Host commission becomes payable, Host commission is $0. If a previously credited booking is later refunded or charged back, the related commission may be reversed.
Examples are for illustration only. Actual commission eligibility and amounts depend on the commission assigned to the applicable GESVO product or service.
